Planning an Event

Please complete the following form and it will be emailed directly to the Ranger. Alternatively, you may print and post it to Ranger, Friends of the Hurtwood, St Mark’s Church Yard, Peaslake, Guildford, Surrey. GU5 9RR

You should receive an email acknowledging the receipt of your application form within 1 week of submission. If your proposed event is given approval, event organisers will also be asked to download and sign an Indemnity form, which you will need to send to the Ranger as well.

All events, filming and activity organisers will be required to submit proof of appropriate public liability insurance.

The Trustees of Friends of the Hurtwood and the Landowners require event organisers to demonstrate that due consideration has been given to public safety in planning the event.

If a proposed event is given approval, event organisers will be asked to sign an agreement to indemnify and keep indemnified the Trustees of the Friends of the Hurtwood, the charity and the owners and occupiers of the land from and against all actions, claims, demands, costs, losses and expenses, which may be brought or made against it or incurred by it howsoever arising in connection with the event.
