Forestry work, Holmbury Hill Dec 2018 - Jan 2019

Forestry operations will be taking place on Holmbury Hill, December 2018 through to January 2019.

The thinning work will mostly be North of the reservoir.

The immediate area around the reservoir will be used for timber stacking as usual, please take note of any warning signs.

There are over 60 miles of paths and bridleways, some steep paths more suitable for fitter walkers whilst there are plenty of less hilly areas if you wish to go for a more gentle stroll.

There are two maps available, with or without car parks. There is no official map showing MTB trails, but you can find out more by asking around while you're out & about on the Hurtwood.
